Pistoia Half Marathon, all set for the 36th edition

Pistoia, March 17, 2025 – The Pistoia Half Marathon is back for its 36th edition, scheduled for Sunday, March 23. The event is organized by ANCoS APS of Confartigianato, with the collaboration of the GP CAI of Pistoia and Atletica Pistoia, in co-promotion with the Municipality of Pistoia and with the patronage of CONI. The start is set in the industrial area of ​​Sant'Agostino, with over 500 competitive runners expected at the start, who will be joined by numerous non-competitive participants. Among these, there will also be representatives of the Fibromyalgia Association and the “I Maratonabili” group, which will allow wheelchair users to participate in the race. The presence of the AVIS Regionale, supported by the Prato section, is also significant. The competition will be held under the aegis of the UISP Pistoia Committee and is valid as a test of the provincial championship of the category. The city route, to be repeated twice, will offer participants the opportunity to cross some of the most suggestive panoramic points of the city, taking advantage of the wide avenue in front of the Confartigianato headquarters for the start and finish phases. Like every year, the view of the avenue invaded by runners will be an exciting spectacle. From a competitive point of view, the race promises to be of great interest: Roberto Bonistalli, president of the CAI Pistoia Podistico Group, emphasizes the presence of numerous top runners who have confirmed their participation.
