Neagu and Tarozzi triumph at the Giro delle Mura at the Lenzi training camp
Neagu and Tarozzi dominate the Giro delle Mura, a running event at the Lenzi training camp with over 1300 participants.

Neagu and Tarozzi dominate the 'Giro delle Mura'. A day of sports at the 'Lenzi' school field, a new location chosen due to the work in progress at the municipal hippodrome. The event, now in its fifty-first edition, was organized by Asd Doro, with the collaboration of Uisp and Avis, sponsored by the Municipality and the Region. The start and finish were, therefore, on the athletics track of the 'Lenzi' school field, which attracted about thirteen hundred runners. The first to set off were the youth categories, with about one hundred young athletes at the start, who ran the various distances inside the athletics track. This was followed by the start of the competitive race over the distance of 11,2 km, as well as the 6 km recreational walk and dog walk and a Nordic Walking over the same distance as the competitive race. A few minutes before the start, the authorities greeted and thanked the participants: the councillor for sport Francesco Carità, the councillor for equal opportunities Angela Travagli, who then took part in the Nordic Walking walk, Eleonora Banzi, provincial president of Uisp and the regional councillor Paolo Calvano, who ran the competitive race.
An 11.2 km route, which after a lap of the track continued in the sottomura and mura estensi, through historic places of the city, such as the Baluardo dell'Amore and the Palazzo di Ludovico il Moro. The race report saw immediately from the first km, Andrei Laurentiu Neagu who managed to keep Rudy Magagnoli and Davide Sughi at a distance, while among the women Demetra Tarozzi remained in the lead from the beginning to the end. The awards ceremony then began with the youth sector, with trophies and medals offered by Avis comunale, with the presence of the president Alessandro Cattabriga. Three groups of the youth sector, with victory for Atletica Copparo, preceding Atletica Bondeno and GP San Giorgio di Piano. Then it was the turn of the absolutes, who were given a blue vest signed by the new European marathon champion Iliass Aouani and the humorous running book by Claudio Macario. Among the men, the Italian-Romanian Andrei Laurentiu Neagu (Avis Taglio di Po) was first with a time of 36.57, distancing in order Rudy Magagnoli (Corriferrara) 38.17 and Davide Sughi (Atletica San Giorgio di Piano) 38.31. Among the women, victory went to Demetra Tarozzi (GP Atletica Molinella) in 45.01, preceding Alice Cuscini (SSDRL Cinque Cerchi Budrio) 46.56 and Elenia Agnoletto (Faro Formignana) 47.25. In the ranking of the largest adult groups, the podium was won by Corriferrara, followed by Quadrilatero Ferrara and SSDRL Cinque Cerchi Budrio.
