LA SPEZIA – A narrow victory (10-9) with which the Lerici Sports puts the seal on a swinging match that is not for the faint-hearted: three fundamental points, in the first of two direct clashes against the direct contenders for the top spot in the standings – the second will be next Saturday against Locatelli – to the detriment of Dream Sport Florence, which slips to third place at 22 points, against the Crocodiles' 29. A match with fits and starts, with the home team remaining firmly in the lead in group 1 of B series, good at taking the lead right away with a significant gap (4-1, +3) and the guests who chase, managing to tie first (5-5) and then overtake their opponents (6-8) and the new draw on 9-9 by the rossoblù with 3'42'' left to the siren. Then the twist that is worth the match, told by coach Sellaroli. "As expected, a very hard-fought match, Dream Sport wanted to get back to -1 from us in the standings: at the end of the third half, they had managed to take a 2-goal lead with our goalkeeper Cavo sent off after we had wasted three power plays. Instead, we had a great reaction, and Torracca was ready between the posts. With 4 minutes to go, we had found the equalizer. In the last action of the visiting team, we recovered the ball well and managed the game because with 20'' to go, the 9-9 draw would have been enough for us. But with 3'' to go, Casazza gave us 3 very precious points with a goal from distance that rewarded an attentive, determined and team-played game".
