Water Polo. Tolentino half satisfied. Good for the girls, the men's team is out

The last round of the championship of the Tolentino Water Polo we experienced the double confrontation with Moie. In A2 the girls returned to the pool - after the break of the tournament, which had reached the halfway point - in the "Caporicci" pool they won their regional derby with a score of 20-12 thanks to an excellent team performance. The Tolentino team (pictured are Martina Abrizi and Laura Ruani) started off strong, winning the first set with a clear 6-1 that, in fact, directed the entire match. The guests tried to tie the score, tying the second set (4-4) and winning the third by one goal (5-6). But it was the last time that proved decisive because the home team found great clarity and compactness, handing out a peremptory 5-1 that marked the end of the match with the result of 20-12. Coach Caproli lined up Zitelli, Peters (6 goals), Santandrea (1), Mariani (1), Cerquozzi (5), Orizi, Bedini, Chiucchiú, Nardi (1), Ruani (4), Fefè, Marconi, Remigi and Abrizi (2). The next round for the Npn Tolentino girls is scheduled for Sunday at the home of Rari Nantes Bologna (Sterlino pool at 12.30).

At the men's level, however, a stinging defeat arrived for the Serie C team, equally engaged against the Moie Water Polo in the "Caporicci" facility in Tolentino. The match, very close, ended 9-14 for the guests. Now the tournament stops for one round, as the first round has ended.
