Two initiatives dedicated to the running, now institutionalized, ready to return within a week of each other. Everything is ready for the 2025 editions of "A little hill" and of the "Prato Half Marathon", presented yesterday in the Town Hall in the presence of the organizers, the president of the council Lorenzo Tinagli and the councilors responsible for sport Luca Vannucci and Gianluca Coppini.

It starts with A little bit of a hill, the "Eco-friendly walk" which returns for the twenty-sixth edition. The start is free and scheduled for tomorrow from 8,30:10 to 6 from Piazza Mercatale. The choice of routes includes three routes of 15, 20 and 15 km. Registration costs 7 euros (XNUMX for children) and can be done on the event's online site.

The next April 13th will be held instead Prato Half Marathon: departure at 9,30 from the Emperor's Castle, for 21,097 km all flat to run through the streets of the city. Also this year the event will be valid for the Tuscan championship, awarding the first three classified in each category among "Absolute", "Promises", "Juniors" and "Masters".

The events will start next Saturday, the day before the race: at 10 am the "village" will open in Piazza delle Carceri, where you can register for the event directly at the organization's stands. That day it will be possible to take part in the side events: the "Walk zone" and then at 16,15:XNUMX pm the "Kids Fun Run", the race for children accompanied by their parents.

The day will continue with the delivery of the race bibs to the mayor Ilaria Bugetti (at 17 pm) with the kermesse that will intertwine with the rugby "Trofeo Denti": the organizers will meet with the flag-wavers of Montemurlo and the teams of the tournament organized by Gispi engaged in the usual walk on the eve.

Returning to the departure of the Half Marathon, at the head of the group will be the Marathonable e Christian Giagnoni, also fresh from the success in the first stage of the Giro d'Italia Handbike. In addition to the longer route, there will be the "Stracittadina" (10 km), the "Walking" with Milena Megli (a 4 km walk) and the "Fido Running" has been confirmed.

Finally, there will be Piero Giacomelli with the non-profit organization Regalami un Sorriso, which in these approximately ten years has allowed the purchase and donation of 205 defibrillators (used in eleven cases) throughout the territory. And the two hundred and sixth will arrive soon.
