A hexagon-shaped baseball, white on a red background, the colors of the city. This will be the new logo of the Bsc Grosseto, simple and essential, studied and created by Federico Alocci, a student in class 4B of the Bianciardi Institute of Grosseto, specializing in Technical Graphics and Communication, with the help of his teachers.

"The new Bsc logo is the symbol of a company that looks to the future without forgetting its ties with the city – says Sports Councillor Fabrizio Rossi –. A project that unites sport, identity and talent, thanks to the work of the students of the Polo Bianciardi, who have been able to translate the values of an important reality for Grosseto into a graphic sign. As an administration, we are proud to support initiatives that strengthen the relationship between the world of sport and that of education, offering young people concrete and valuable experiences".

"I want to thank the students and the entire school because they did a great job – says Antonio Pugliese, president of the Bsc –. It was difficult to choose, all the logos had something to tell".

"This opportunity strengthens the bond between institutions and the reality of our territory – says the headmaster of Polo Bianciardi, Marco D'Aquino –. The kids did a different job than usual in class: it was a challenge that allowed them to put theoretical studies into practice". "We have hundreds of young minds, it's a fortune – concludes Michele Ranieri, graphic arts teacher at Polo Bianciardi –. The logo represents a hug to Grosseto".

Four more projects reached the finals: Emma Fromboluti, from 4° B, Alessandra Nanni, from 4° A, Dimitri Corridori, from 5° A, and Kevin La Cara, from 5° B. The work of the students was supervised by the project coordinator, Michele Ranieri, and by the teachers Patrizia Vincenzoni, Gianluca Falangola, Donatella Bonaccorsi, Marcella Materazzi, Gaia Paolillo, Federica Cipolletta, Luca Di Maggio and Gaia Zocchia.
