Al team championship disputed at Forlì last weekend, theAsd Ravenna Chess won 2nd place in the promotion group behind the Bologna team, thus gaining promotion to the series C. The Ravenna team had been trying to regain the top series for several years. In this 2025 edition, the Giallorossi, led by Igor Giussani, they succeeded in the enterprise, even overcoming critical moments.

After debuting with a clear victory in the first round, the team from Ravenna was first defeated by the Bologna team, which then won the group, and then stopped on a draw by one of the two local teams. Thanks to the two victories on Sunday, however, Ravenna Scacchi managed to climb the rankings, finishing alone in second place and leaving behind Forlì (which fielded two teams), Faenza and Montefeltro.
