Il Fencing Club Cervia - Milano Marittima will be busy this weekend at Catania in the national test reserved for Youth and Cadets where they will step onto the stage Samuel Neighborhoods e Diego Rustighi. Quartieri earned the pass to the national tournament thanks to the bronze won on December 22 in Conselice in the regional event, an occasion in which he also achieved qualification for the national phase in the Under 20 (also scheduled in Catania this weekend), while Rustighi arrived 14th fourteenth, playing a leading role in the competition. Luca Righi, Lorenzo Benvenuti, Alessandro Moretti and Jacopo Budini also ranked in the top thirty. Also in the Conselice stage, the Cervia club had won the bronze in the Male and Youngsters Category of the Regional Youngsters Grand Prix for teams. Both also proved their worth in the second regional qualification test for the absolute male epee held in Lugo at the end of January, qualifying in the thirty-second finals, in a competition that saw the participation of 150 athletes.
