Silver medal for Luke Of The Rose, the athlete of the Apuania Table Tennis competing at the tables of Montesilvano, in the Pescara area, for the Italian championships. Born in 2001, number 232 in the Italian ranking, the table tennis player from Carrara climbed onto the second step of the podium in the Third Category doubles competition, paired with Roberto Black of Chiavari Table Tennis. For the Tuscan-Ligurian couple it was an overwhelming tournament that only in the final had to surrender 3-1 (11-9, 11-8, 10-12, 11-4) to the Prato couple composed of Emanuele Vasta and Pietro Campagna.

The path of the Della Rosa-Negro couple was impeccable: in the round of 64 they took advantage of a bye; in the round of 32 they defeated the Giustiniani-Persico couple 3-0 (11-9, 13-11, 11-7); in the round of 16 they overcame the Lazio couple Di Silvio-Montaperto 3-2 (11-9, 6-11, 11-7, 3-11, 11-5); in the eighth-finals they beat the Milanese couple Garbati-Delaraico 3-1 (11-7, 8-11, 11-6, 11-6); subsequently in the quarterfinals she defeated the Lombardy team Marchese-Bassi by 3-1 (8-11, 11-9, 11-6, 13-11) and in the semifinals she overcame Serti-Landolfi by 3-1 (8-11, 11-5, 13-11, 12-10); surrendering only in the final where, after going down 2-0, she reacted in the third set (where she cancelled three set points for her opponents), and then gave in in the fourth. Satisfaction was expressed by the president of Apuania Tennistavolo Guglielmo Bellotti: "I'm happy with Luca's result, I think he deserves this medal, it's a shame about the final because it was within reach".

Bellotti also recalls Della Rosa's path in the national C1 championship where the player is included in the B team (in this championship the yellow and blues field two formations). In the 31 matches played he obtained 23 successes and 8 defeats (74,2%), 75 sets won and 39 lost, 1120 points scored and 931 conceded.
