Ferrara City Trophy: two days of horse riding at the hippodrome

A two-day event on horseback with the 'Trofeo Città di Ferrara'. This is the equestrian event scheduled at the city's hippodrome on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May. The 'Trofeo Città di Ferrara' was created by Asd Ippodromo to highlight the sport of horse riding and more generally the entire world that revolves around horses. The details of the two-day event were presented in the town hall in the presence of Francesco Carità, sports councilor, Monia Montanari, president of Asd Ippodromo di Ferrara, Greta Finotti, organizational collaborator of the Asd, and Giorgia Boschetti, instructor Asd Ippodromo.

"I thank this association, which is trying - explains Councilor Carità - to involve the whole city and not only enthusiasts to make people know and fall in love with equestrian disciplines, horses and all the activities related to them. I hope that with this initiative we can also lay the foundations to spread the equestrian passion more among young people and adults in our area". Ferrara has a long and important equestrian history and little by little the Asd Ippodromo intends to make it re-emerge. On Saturday the equestrian centers of the area will be present, which will make themselves known, exhibiting their specialties and the various disciplines related to horse riding. There will be music with a group of Ferrarese boys the 'Blusy Tunes'.

Sunday is all about competitions in the various disciplines, these are gymkhana, show jumping and dressage, with the constant presence of stands and food trucks. "We believe that unity is strength - reiterated Monia Montanari - and therefore the project is trying to come to life with demonstrations, pony rides for children, workshops, all surrounded by food stands, crafts, manufactured goods, products from our territory. We hope for a fantastic future for this event".
