"Trophy of the Titan". Exploit Rari Nantes: four golds and 3 silvers

With 4 golds, 3 silvers and 4 bronzes the Rare Nantes Florentia greeted the 22nd edition of the San Marino Titan Trophy, national event in preparation for the absolute Italian championships (Riccione 12-17 April), which confirmed the red and white club at the highest levels of the Italian swimmingThe eleven medals (6 men, 5 women) were won by Lorenzo Zazzeri, Giovanni Guatti, Edoardo Valsecchi, Fabio Faggian, Ruben Chiostri, Bianca Nannucci, Giulia Pascareanu, Paola Biagioli and Azzurra Sbaragli (pictured).

On an individual level, great satisfaction for Sbaragli (gold in the 1500 and bronze in the 800 freestyle) and Zazzeri (gold in the 50 and silver in the 100 freestyle), both on the podium with a double medal, as well as for Valsecchi and Nannucci who reported the best overall performances of the meeting. The veteran Biagioli won the silver in the 100 freestyle; equally surprising were the performances of the young Chiostri, Faggian and Pascareanu, who won medals with times above expectations.
