International Tournament Città di Ferrara: the 15th edition kicks off with 12 Under 13 teams
The San Giorgio tournament starts today with 12 Under 13 teams, including Vis 2008 Ferrara and Cedevita Olimpia Ljubljana.

Appointment today with theInternational Tournament "City of Ferrara" organized by Despar 4 Towers. The traditional St. George's Tournament will start at 14pm with the first matches, and will end on Sunday 27th with the tip-off of the final at 17pm. The fifteenth edition of the prestigious tournament reserved for the category will be contested Under 13, considered a real national final of the category, will be Vis 2008 Ferrara, Cedevita Olimpia Ljubljana, Sg Fortitudo, Umana Reyer Venice, Basketball Rome, Bsl San Lazzaro, Emil Bank Virtus Bologna, Orange1 International Bassano, Old Bridge Bologna, Reggiana Academy Basketball, Solid World Basket Treviso e Petrarch Padova.
In previous editions, players who still play in Serie A have passed through the 'Città di Ferrara', and this year too there will be no shortage of talent. The event will be held between Aeffe Pala, home of the 4 Towers, and the Gymnasium on Viale Tumiati.
On the youth front, the U17 Gold, made up of players from Argenta, 4 Torri and Scuola Basket Ferrara, under the orders of coach Dalpozzo, deservedly returns as winners from Easter Cup organized by Bakery Piacenza, which saw the participation of teams from all over Italy: the White Group with Argenta, Piacenza Young, Apu Udine, JBStings Mantova; and the Red Group, instead, with Pallacanestro Vigodarzere, Teramo a Spicchi, Bea Chieti, Jbr Rovereto. Coach Dalpozzo's boys were able to test themselves against teams from the U17 Gold and Eccellenza championships, in a long and intense weekend full of emotions and sharing for the boys. Cestistica easily overcomes the group, against the highly rated Udine, Piacenza and Mantova. In the semifinals, Dalpozzo and Brunelli's boys get the better of Vigodarzere (67-80), and reach the final: Rovereto gives the white-blues a hard time, who however win the Easter Cup 67-55.
