SIENA - The Stosa conquers the tenth victory allowed and makes 7/7 in the second phase approaching the salvation objective with 5 days to go in the play in out. With a great team performance the rossoblu annihilate With wood dominating far and wide for all 40 minutes and managing an advantage that during the match even reached 30 points. Great start for the Virtus which immediately extends with Guerra's penetrations and Calvellini and Costantini's baskets. The red and blues go into a double-digit lead (18-7) forcing Comazzi to take a time out. Two consecutive baskets by Calvellini make Stosa fly to 24-7 with 3' to go in the quarter which ends 34-16 after the +21 reached by Siena after 9' of play. Two consecutive triples by Zocca at the start of the second quarter allow the red and blue team to fly to 44-18 after 2' of play. The guests try not to give up on the match and with Bossola they try to get closer by returning to under 20 points of disadvantage. In the second part of the period Siena extends again with Calvellini in the spotlight. Stosa has an easy ride and closes the first part of the match with a score of 64-36. Two consecutive baskets by Bartoletti open the third fraction of play and allow Virtus to maintain the advantage unchanged (68-40 at 23'). Collegno signs a small partial of 0-5 with the triple of Tarditi and the basket of Milone, a signal that leads coach Evangelisti to stop the game to talk to his players and avoid lapses in concentration. The minute has the desired effect because Virtus starts playing again finding from Gianoli the points that allow them to extend again (78-50) and to close the quarter at a safe distance on 79-55. Collegno does not give up and tries to reduce the disadvantage at the beginning of the last quarter when De Bartolomeo scores from 6,75 bringing the Piedmontese to -20. But the game is absolutely not in doubt because the rossoblu, despite a bit of a physiological mental decline, close the accounts quite quickly finding the triple of Chellini that seals a game never in doubt where coach Evangelisti managed the rotations giving breath to the injured and minutes to the young people on the bench who responded as always present. Next Sunday the rossoblu will be playing in Genoa followed by a busload of fans who will follow the team away.
