With tooth and nail the Blacks win a 'bad, dirty and nasty' game at home Crema, earning two golden points. The first quarter, however, is a nightmare. The careless defense and the very high offensive percentages of Crema make the Faenza team slip to 14-30. The 31-18 at the end of the first quarter is eloquent. Faenza returns to the field with the eyes of the tiger, defending aggressively and starting to score. All the players put their brick and it is Poggi with four consecutive points who gives the lead (43-43) and the advantage (45-43). The Blacks respond to their opponents by going into the interval ahead 47-45 thanks to a partial of 29-13. The match becomes very heated and the chair rises Cavallero (20 points) the real star of the third quarter. His baskets start the mini escape with Raggisolaris reaching 63-54. Crema doesn't accept this and reacts by coming back to -6, a margin that Faenza maintains also at 30' (69-63). The inertia is however all in the hands of the guests and from yet another recovered ball comes the triple of Fragonara of 74-63 then Cavallero thinks again to give the 80-67. In the frantic end Logiman brings it to -5 (81-86) at 1'48'', but Faenza is cool and does not get distracted.
