CAMAIORE – The 24/25 season ended really well for Vela. Salvation with two days to spare and a crushing victory in the last match with an advantage rarely obtained in its history. A match played by both contenders, now safe, in a convinced but relaxed manner. A true sporting spectacle, with a lot of commitment, without malice. Something unforgettable and sensations rarely felt. In a special way at the end with a hug that involved everyone. Vela demonstrated its superiority from the beginning even with opponents who always fought. First fraction Vela ahead (20-13), complete mastery in the second (36-27 at halftime) and absolute domination in the third (68-38 with a partial of 32-11), something never seen before. For Monsummano, obviously, nothing to do in the last one except suffer again and finish almost double down at 92-47. In Vela everyone was good, everyone scored but a special mention goes to the not yet seventeen year old Batini who made his debut a few minutes from the end and scored eight points with two very good three-pointers.
