Just over 700 minutes on the pitch this season between the regular season, Coppa Italia and playoffs. But that was enough to be remembered. Alessandro Lombardy he held up the Rimini in the house of the Vis Pesaro. His goal in injury time re-established the balance that allows the red and whites to have two results out of three considering the return match scheduled for tomorrow at the 'Neri'. A paltry advantage considering strictly on-field matters, but that goal certainly gave another nice injection of confidence to Buscè's team. "It was a nice goal - the Rimini midfielder can't help but admit it - And it was needed in a match in which we played like a real team. We were very good at never giving up, at really believing until the last second. And personally I can only be happy". Because Lombardi is one of those in Buscè's team who this season has always been able to wait for his moment. "We all work to have satisfactions like the one I had in Pesaro - he says - But this certainly doesn't make me lose concentration. We'll stay on the ball for the second round because we haven't done anything yet". Lombardi keeps his feet on the ground and also thinks about his opponents. "We expected a Vis just like we found it on the pitch. We are talking about a strong team with important players. We knew it would be a tough match, complicated from many points of view". We were talking about the confidence boost given by the last-gasp draw. "Scoring a goal in the last minute - Lombardi underlines - is an important thing for the whole team. It gives you incredible energy. Not losing the first leg was fundamental. But now the important one is the return match...".

Then there is nothing left to do but talk about the fans. About 600 were able to sit in the stands of the 'Benelli' on Sunday evening. But they were heard loud and clear. "A beautiful crowd just as was easy to predict. I am very happy to have gone to celebrate under the fans, who were very happy for my goal". Celebrations at the end of the match under the away sector and now the doors of the 'Romeo Neri' are ready to open again.
