Arezzo, Russo and Gori: two names for the attack. Cutolo between arrivals and departures. Gucci says goodbye
The Avellino attacking midfielder is liked, the Ghiviborgo centre forward is exciting. Strategies to fix Troise's squad

by Luca AmorosiAREZZOThe resounding success of Legnago has restored some serenity to an environment that had become electric after the single point collected in the two previous home games. In this context of renewed enthusiasm, the Amaranth director Cutolo can resume open discussions on the subject of transfer market, between exits to be finalized and a last (perhaps) incoming move to define the definitive squad that will complete the current season. After having shored up the defense with Gilli, the former Amaranth captain has made a major move with the purchase of Alessandro Capello, fresh from the playoffs won with Carrarese last season and from an initial stint in Serie B with the Marmiferi.
The "Shark", as he is nicknamed, has taken the place in the list (and the shirt number) of Nicholas Gucci, still in the sights of Paolo Indiani's Livorno, even if the negotiations have stalled several times in the last few hours. The Florentine striker, 22 goals overall with the Cavallino in 86 appearances, is however on his way out and will leave Arezzo, where he will remain instead Robert Ogunseye until the end of the loan from Cesena. On the way out, preferably on loan, he also remains Mattia Gaddini: the 2002-born attacking winger was called up against the Venetians last Saturday, unlike Gucci and Del Fabro (another surplus on Catania's radar), but he remained on the bench until the final whistle, a clear sign that he is not part of Troise's current technical-tactical project. In his place, Cutolo is looking for a profile capable of acting as a right-footed left winger and who can, possibly, also occupy a more central position, as a second striker or offensive terminal. One of the profiles explored in the last few hours is that of Raffaele Russo, winger born in 1999 for three seasons at Avellino after growing up in the youth sector of Napoli and having played, in C, also with the shirts of Albissola, Pro Vercelli, Rieti, Grosseto and Messina, scoring a total of 17 goals between the championship, cup and playoffs in over 170 appearances. This year, for the moment, he has totaled 4 goals and 3 assists in twenty appearances. Short, he has different characteristics from Gaddini, but his versatility in being able to adapt to all roles in attack make him a functional identikit.
The other name that was circulating is that of the young striker Lorenzo Gori del Ghiviborgo, who would represent a prospective coup: 21 years old in April, he has scored 17 goals in 19 games so far in group E of Serie D. Arzignano is also interested in him. Colder, now, are the tracks that lead to Ongaro del Novara, again on target last Friday in Lecco, and Mignani, also decisive for Pianese with a goal in the victory over Pescara. For the latter, however, it cannot be ruled out that Cutolo could try a new attack in the final stages of the current transfer window.
