Arezzo, March 15, 2025 – The worst Arezzo of the Bucchi management falls narrowly to Ascoli, suffers the second consecutive defeat and is caught and overtaken in the standings by Pineto. The Amaranth slip into seventh position at the end of a negative performance (especially the second half) against an opponent in full crisis, coming off four consecutive defeats and yet another upset on the bench. And against Milan Futuro both Guccione and Tavernelli will be missing due to suspension.

Bucchi had confirmed the usual 4-3-3 with a decidedly front-wheel drive. The midfield and attack are the same as those deployed against Carpi: Guccione in the control room with Chierico and Capello as attackers and in support of the trident formed by Pattarello and Tavernelli on the sides of Ravasio. What's new in defense where both Chiosa and Renzi return from the first minute. Di Carlo, in his new debut on the Juventus bench, mirrors Corazza as the most advanced reference.

From the first few minutes, Arezzo tries to impose its new trademark: possession and aggression up front. Which translates into the 7th minute with the first goal opportunity on a pass from Renzi. Tavernelli tests Raffaelli from distance. Halfway through the half, a flash from the Amaranth: Capello invents with the outside of the ball for Ravasio who back-heels Pattarello, but the 10, alone in the area, kicks badly wide. It's a isolated jolt because Arezzo in front creates little. Ascoli compacts and risks the bare minimum. The possession of Bucchi's team lacks in the finalization and does not find offensive outlets. In the final part of the half it is actually Renzi who has to block on Corazza.

Lo 0-0 at half time is a faithful photograph of a subdued half of the match for the Prancing Horse. The second half opens with the decisive intervention of Trombini on the rebound from the edge of Odjer. Prelude to the advantage for Ascoli which comes in the 52nd minute when Varone finds the winning shot from outside the area to make it 1-0. Arezzo does little filtering and swerves at the back. Bucchi tries to give more balance in midfield by bringing on Dezi for Capello, but it is Corazza who misses the 2-0 in the 63rd minute on the counterattack when he is one-on-one with Trombini and kicks out. With the 2-0 thwarted, it is Dezi who wastes the opportunity to make it 1-1 when, on a brilliant throw from Guccione, he is anticipated in extremis by the goalkeeper. For the final stretch, Ogunseye and Fiore also come in for Chierico and a dull Pattarello. The finale with the double centre forward and almost 9 minutes of injury time, however, do not change the story of a match that represents a sharp step backwards in the growth process of the Prancing Horse.
