PIETRASANTA – Pontremolese offered a good performance, winning 1-0 on the Pietrasanta pitch against a direct rival in the playoff fight. Verdi's team proved to be the team in the best shape at the moment: despite the heavy penalty of 10 points in the standings, the Lunigiana team climbed to third place. Especially in midfield, thanks to Franzoni's excellent performance, Pontremolese built its victory, the ability and desire to suffer in difficult moments of the whole team did the rest. The match was beautiful and vibrant from the first few minutes, with both teams trying to win. The balance was broken in the 31st minute when Ceciarini had a free gap and from a tight position found a right-footed shot that was worth the lead. It was a bad blow for Pietrasanta, who however came back with greater conviction in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Remedi did not find the time to shoot on goal. It's Pietrasanta's best moment, but the push is fading and Pontremolese could strike on the counterattack on at least a couple of occasions.
