Chiesanuova and sporting director Ivan Menghi (photo) part ways. The 52-year-old had held the position since the summer of 2023 but had already been in red and white from 2015 to 2021, first as a goalkeeper, then as a goalkeeping coach and finally as a transfer consultant and sports director. "The ideas no longer match those of the president in technical and management choices and so - explains Menghi - without controversy or creating problems, I decided to take a step back". A two-year period of work that is certainly positive comes to an end. "Yes, it was a great experience and I'm happy for Chiesanuova, twice third in Eccellenza and twice in the playoffs. The president had called me to operate on the market and first I chose Mobili and then Bruni. The coach gave us great credibility and then contributed a lot to the results with his footballing wisdom, but I must also praise the team manager who, as a former Recanatese, brought his organizational skills to the club and was the link between the team and management. I loved everyone and I hope I left a good memory also from a human point of view".
