Civitanovese, the fans protest. Profili asked to leave the club
Banners hung in various areas of the city against the owner who has not yet released any statement

The protests of the organized fans against the owner Mauro Profili continue unabated. Yesterday morning the city woke up plastered with banners calling on the top management to leave the club. They were posted in particular in Piazza XX Settembre, at Lido Cluana, on the underpass of Via Buozzi and at the Polisportivo roundabout. They all bore the same message: "Profili go away". In one case, the phrase "libera la Civitanovese" was added.
The rift between the ultras and the president therefore seems irreparable and the appeal launched just two days ago by coach Luigi Bugiardini already seems to be a dead letter. In the newspapers, the coach had invited the fans to take "a step back" regarding the protest, advising "an agreement" between the parties. There is no shortage of rumors about possible buyers, among the sportsmen there are those who suggest local groups and foreign groups, but everything is a waste of time in the absence of official statements.
Of course, the first to have to clarify his wishes is Profili himself, who has not yet spoken after the defeat in Notaresco. Even on the web, the majority of the rossoblù people are not on his side, but there are some willing to break a lance in favor of the company management. In particular, they support that concept of "mistakes made because of too much love for these colors", already expressed by Bugiardini on live television. Also online, Daniele Maria Angelini responded to a fan who spoke of a "sketch" by the honorary president himself regarding the criticisms made against Bugiardini: "nobody - wrote Angelini - is blaming anyone. We lost the match against a team within our reach and those who lose are never right. Freedom of expression gives everyone the opportunity to express themselves".
The team chapter also remains completely suspended, no training is scheduled. The players are tied to the red and blue club until June 30, then they will be free to move elsewhere. These discussions will also have to be addressed sooner or later, understanding who would be willing to move down a division. Certain sirens will have to be removed, such as an ambitious Trodica who seems to have put the red and blues Ismail Diop, Marco Passalacqua and Ramiro Capello Brunet in his thoughts. The one tied to the Riviera club for another year of contract is coach Sante Alfonsi, who was fired in mid-December.
