An exit defined in the last few hours and another still to be perfected. Then a last incoming move and a renewal on the home straight. This is the agenda of the Amaranth director Cutolo for the current situation. Let's proceed in order: the Amaranth club has announced the transfer, on loan with the right to redeem, of Dario Del Fabro.
The defender's adventure at , for now, ends after a few months and a negative first part of the season.
It remains to be seen whether the operation is in some way also linked to an incoming move, with an Etna player who could do the opposite.
In fact, the club is always looking for an offensive player who can act as a first or second striker or as an attacking winger and a hot name remains that of Filippo D'Andrea, leaving Catania where he didn't really click (17 appearances and 1 goal) after the excellent season spent in Cerignola (15 goals and 5 assists in 37 games). Born in 1998, he can cover practically all the roles in the attack.
A further element that could facilitate the negotiation is the possible arrival in Sicily of the offensive winger Nicola Dalmonte from Salernitana, a deal which, according to leaks, is well underway.
Also leaving the ranks of Etna is Montalto, a centre-forward who had also sounded him out in the summer. His age, his left foot (there are already Ogunseye, Guccione and Pattarello in the role) and his lesser versatility, however, put him in the background in Cutolo's list, which still includes the name of Raffaele Russo of Avellino, a short left winger with a right foot who would be a good replacement for Gaddini.
By the way, Pontedera has made a strong move for the 2002-born winger after saying goodbye to the whimsical Ianesi, who was sold to Milan Futuro on a costly loan.
The destination could be appreciated by the player and the deal can be done, with the loan formula until the end of the season. As mentioned, finally, there is the renewal front: in this sense, that of the midfielder has arrived, until 2027 Salvatore Santoro. In the summer he had signed for one year, but he will remain even after June 2025.
