Forlì, watch out for Fiorenzuola. Last, but refounded on the market
To the new coach, tomorrow's rivals have added ten winter purchases. And they have just conquered Imola

Tomorrow (14.30pm) the wild band directed by the 'maestro' Miramari goes up to the province of Piacenza to face the Fiorenzuola. A head-to-head on the pitch for the Emilians, last with twelve rounds to go (tied with Sammaurese, with 16 points). Contrary to what the standings say - 35 points separate the two teams - the outcome of the match does not appear to be a foregone conclusion.
The red and black team, in fact, has completely changed its face with the heavy makeover that, in the winter transfer window, has brought as many as ten new players to a team redesigned in the hope of achieving a difficult salvation. Between the posts, the goalkeeper Ghisleri has been hired from Pro Vercelli, while the defense has been strengthened with the arrival of Lomolino (San Marino), Parisi (Ragusa), Peretti (Mestre). In midfield, the new faces are those of Boscolo Chio (Pro Sesto) and Deiana (San Giuliano City), while in the forward department it now relies on Ceravolo, taken from Palazzolo, Cocuzza arrived from Sangiuliano City, Carrozza from Acireale, and Russo from Fossano.
A refoundation that was followed by the change of the bench with the dismissal of Vincenzo Cammaroto replaced at the end of December by mister Andrea Cicero, subscribed to the 3-5-2 formation. After three consecutive defeats with the new coach, Fiorenzuola has shown signs of recovery in the last two games in which the Emilians have collected four points thanks to the home draw (1-1) with San Marino which was followed by the surprising victory last Sunday on the ground of Imolese, sixth: a resounding 0-2 signed by Sementa and Carrozza.
The Emilian squad includes two former red and whites: defender Matteo Ronchi (60 appearances and two goals with Forlì between 2021 and 2023), and striker Jacopo Mosole, out due to injury, who played 24 games with the Galletti last year, with one goal.
Fiorenzuola is back this year in D series after three consecutive seasons in C, a category in which it has played another twenty tournaments. In the current championship Fiorenzuola has achieved only one victory at home (2-1 against Zenith Prato) and four draws, against six defeats. The performance of the attack is also deficient, with only 13 goals scored, which has so far done better than only Progresso (11).
Fiorenzuola and Forlì have shared four championships, starting from the Prima Divisione (the C series at the time) of 1930-31. The balance of the ten face-to-face matches, including the 2017-18 playoff, sees Forlì ahead by four wins to two, with four draws. In the first leg, Forlì won 2-0 thanks to goals by Farinelli and Menarini.
Tomorrow mister Miramar will have to do without full-back Mandrelli, suspended by a one-match suspension by the sports judge. The injured forwards Trombetta (foot) and Lilli (knee) are doubtful.
