Mayor Sacchetti's number one. She's the one who Marco Semprini, a true Santarcangiolese, general secretary of theAtalanta, gave the mayor of Santarcangelo. A meeting, the one that took place during the Christmas holidays in the Municipality, arrived after the special mention reserved for Semprini by the mayor on December 21st during the delivery of the Golden Archangel. "For the prestigious successes - says the motivation - obtained as general secretary of Atalanta, last spring the first Italian team to win the Europa League and also thanks to him linked to Youth Santarcangelo which is one of its football schools". The gift of the black and blue jersey of the Bergamo team underlines among other things the football bond between the Santarcangelo sports club and the Bergamo one, born on the initiative of Young Santarcangelo itself which from the 2022-23 season is a partner of Atalanta for the development of the youth sector.

"I thank Marco Semprini for giving me the Atalanta shirt with the number 1 – says the mayor Philip Bags – A surprise that I did not expect and that I was very pleased with. Semprini’s story, which we also wanted to tell during the end-of-year greeting, represents very well that of many people who, starting from Santarcangelo, carve out a prominent role at a national or international level for their professional or other merits. Stories that, in addition to making us very proud, only enrich the experience of our community, also because often a strong bond with the city is maintained, as in the case of Marco's children who play in Young Santarcangelo, which has also become one of Atalanta's football schools thanks to him". A special bond between Atalanta and the province of Rimini. In fact, there are several people from Romagna who wave the flag of our land in Bergamo. On the field, defending the goalposts of the Goddess, there is Marco Carnesecchi from Rimini. In the control room there is Gabriele Zamagna from Rimini, Riccione by adoption (appointed a few months ago Ambassador of Riccione in the world), former player and manager of Rimini and for years, 14, sports manager of Atalanta with the Percassi family.
