Gubbio, a heavy defeat: home defeat against Entella, it ends 0-2

Gubbio, March 23, 2025 – Nothing to be done. The Gubbio loses the clash with the league leaders Virtus Entella by 0-2, at the end of a match decided by incidents. The rossoblù play without fear but struggle and not a little in the final meters, while on the other side the Ligurians are good at closing up and starting again with cynicism.

The good news, both humanly and sportingly, is the return to the field of By Massimo, absent for 7 months. The guests start strong and in the 2nd minute they hit the top of the crossbar with Marconi, two minutes later Di Noia rewards the insertion of Franzoni that sends high in front of the goal.

Fontana tries everything: first he switches to 4-2-3-1 and then, with Di Massimo's return to the field after seven months of absence, also to 4-2-4. The result, however, does not change, and the streak of consecutive useful results ends at three.
