The commentary. Goodbye to second place, now hunting for the play-offs

Robur shouldn't have lost yesterday, so as not to compromise their run towards second place. Instead, it ended 2-0, just like the first leg. The Bianconeri were punished by the goals of the 'usual' Tomassini (who reached 15 in the scorers' charts) and Posada. They returned home empty-handed and with the knowledge that the possibility of placing themselves behind Livorno (for the Livornici, yesterday, second consecutive fall, at home against Poggibonsi), has practically disappeared.
A real shame, considering that Seravezza Pozzi did not go beyond a 1-1 draw at Terranuova Bracciolini. Eight points, with six games to play, are a lot, too many, to recover, with Fulgens Foligno proving to be a good team, proactive, deserving of remaining at the top. Magrini's team, now, must rather look behind them: yesterday's defeat made them slip out of the play-off grid: the points, 44, are the same as Grosseto (who drew 0-0 at home to Flaminia Civita Castellana) and Ghiviborgo (victorious 3-0 on the Figline field), but the goal difference is a, temporary, condemnation.
It will be important, therefore, for Bianchi and his teammates to quickly file away the defeat, avoiding psychological repercussions, in order to close the journey with dignity, continuing the regular season. A possible undertaking, but not easy for a team that just can't score (the attack is still the second worst in the group, the defense is still the best). The hope is that at least the infirmary can be emptied. If the play-off battle is tight, even in the lower part of the standings it is no holds barred: many teams are enclosed in a few points, with direct salvation in their sights.
