PECCIOLI – If you don't score, you don't win... and then maybe you end up losing. The simple refrain of football (perfect synthesis of the entire season of Viareggio) is repeated at the "Pagni" of Peccioli, where the Zebre capitulate in the final minutes... after having wasted several chances with their attackers.

Bonini, without the suspended Cosimo Belluomini and Goh, proposes the same 4-3-1-2 that had beaten Massese the previous Sunday with the only forced change of Bianchi in the direction (re)moving Ferrarese to midfielder. After a few minutes he is also forced to change the under to the low right due to Bellini's injury. The Bianconeri risk going behind in the 7th minute when Pallecchi narrowly misses the target after a misunderstanding between Sorbo and Carpita. The Viareggio reaction is in the series of chances of their forwards Ortolini (in the 7th minute), Morelli (in the 10th minute) and Bibaj (in the 30th minute, with a great save by Campinotti). At the end of the first half the Ponsacconi make themselves seen again with Pallecchi's free kick parried into the corner by Carpita. Viareggio instead comes close to taking the lead with Remedi and then at the end with Bertacca on Bibaj's corner.

At the start of the second half, Ortolini wastes a couple of scoring opportunities: in the 50th minute after Campinotti's short save on Bibaj and in the 53rd minute when he heads wide all alone on a great cross from Ferrarese. Viareggio risks in the 64th minute on a volley from the edge of the area by Burato. Then in the 82nd minute, on a free kick cross from Bibaj, Campinotti takes the stage again, saving both Morelli's header and Bertacca's save. Mobilieri Ponsacco tries out a match goal in the 84th minute with Andreotti and a minute later finds it with the 2006 substitute Riccomi who scores a short save from Carpita after Borselli's run.
