Despite being in sixth-last place in the standings, if the championship ended today the white and blues would be safe thanks to the franchise of eight points of advantage over the third-last of the class Sammaurese. But coming to the match report, the 'Biavati' team started strong and, after just two turns of the clock, managed to find the advantage. On the developments of a corner taken by Bovo, Rizzi freed himself well from the marking and, with a precise header, left no escape from the desperate attempt of rebound by Ansaldi.

At 25' the Fiorenzuola comes close to equalising with a double conclusion from Ceravolo first and then Sementa and, shortly before the interval, it is the Corticella came close to doubling the score with a shot from Manara that was saved for a corner by the opposing goalkeeper.

At the start of the second half, Rizzi comes close to making it 2-0 with a nice lob, but, at the best moment for the home team, the Piacenza team finds the equaliser with a nice header from Oboe on a cross from Sementa. Having digested the shock of the unexpected equaliser, Nesi's band generously throws itself forward in search of the winning goal and, in the 30th minute, after a colossal opportunity missed by Rizzi, the efforts made finally produce the desired results. Lo Giudice, served by the new arrival Embalò Bian, crosses a ball that Manara is very good at converting into a goal. In the final moments, Ribello saves a dangerous lob from Oboe on the line that was destined to go all the way.
