Ponsacco – The choice of the Pagni di Peccioli stadium by the Ponsacchina club for the match between I Mobilieri Ponsacco and Viareggio pays off for the rossoblu who improve their danger and obtain a hard-fought victory, bringing the home wins of this championship to three after Cuoiopelli in the first leg and Pontebuggianese in the return leg. Even though the black and white team was already out of the play outs, they gave nothing away to Bozzi's men, who fought back against the visiting team with the weapons of resistance and resourcefulness. It was too important for Ponsacco to turn around their recent negative performances by achieving a full result. The winning thrust was the 40th minute of the newly entered Riccomi who pierced Carpita, taking off his shirt, after the team had been under pressure that had disunited Viareggio. The match was exciting and fair and both teams had ample opportunities to violate their respective goalkeepers. While the rossoblu in the favorable chances did not hit the target well, the Viareggio players hit Campinotti's goal with greater aim and danger but the no. 1 of the Mobilieri was truly unbeatable.
