The Arezzo Michael Pastorini (pictured) in fact reached the finish line in eighteenth place overall (seventh among the Italians and out of approximately eight thousand participants) with a time of 1 hour, 8 minutes and 56 seconds, just ten minutes and eight seconds more than the winner, the Kenyan Rop Gideon.

In his category, Pastorini placed twelfth overall. His time of 1h08'56" is equivalent to his personal record in a half marathon and is among the best ever for an athlete from the province of Arezzo. A result that testifies to the growth of the runner from Policiano.
