Portomaggiore: new course with Baiesi and Roda, Skabar on the bench

A new era begins in Portomaggiore. The Rossoneri management has reconstituted the Alessandro Baiesi-Juri Roda duo that had worked so well in Copparo, leading the rossoblù from Promozione to Eccellenza. It will be easier in Portomaggiore, starting from the Prima categoria after the disastrous relegation. The club has chosen a rookie as coach: Andrej Skabar (in the photo, all three). We left him in Gallo, rewarded by president Carlo Baldissara for the fruitful season, having made a decisive contribution to the historic leap in category. He had left the Galletti and football because he wanted to try his hand on the bench and Portuense offered him a tempting opportunity, in a big place.

Skabar is a forty-year-old in his career, the same age as Rinaldi. As a player he was an excellent central defender. He stood out in Argentina in Eccellenza, then a lot of First category, leader of the department, always decisive. His leadership weighed heavily on Gallo, in Portuense he hopes to make the difference on the bench, an environment of great prestige but that must find itself after the fall.
