Centese wins with the most classic of results and, due to the surprising series of defeats of the top teams, except for Mesola, reaches the playoff zone. It was a monologue by the home team, who unlocked the result in the 12th minute, in the only highlight of the first half. Grimandi enters with the right timing in the corridor left open by the Bolognese, a long pass that puts the attacker in a position to shoot on goal, but he is knocked down at the moment of the shot: penalty. Pirreca steps up to the spot, Comastri guesses but doesn't reach it. From here on the game goes into hibernation, boredom prevails in the stands until half-time. The second half is decidedly more lively. Costantini doesn't even have time to come on and scores the second. The former Faro centre forward is well fed by Pirreca, just inside the area he strikes the goalkeeper who is coming out. The G&G stands are buzzing at the half hour mark for a goal disallowed to Fabbri for an alleged offside position. A goal opportunity also for the new entry Govoni: at 35' a header, just wide. At the 5' of injury time Costantini flies into the area, in front of the goalkeeper he sins of altruism, but is not repaid by Govoni, who wastes the easy opportunity.
