At almost thirty-four years old, Manuel Pucciarelli continues to make a difference in Serie C: the footballer from Montemurlo, who boasts over one hundred appearances in Serie A, is one of the regulars of Vis Pesaro who dreams of Serie B

Prato, March 24, 2025 - “We must remember that we come from a playout. And we must be proud of what we are doing”. Manuel Pucciarelli he spoke as a leader, a few days ago, in drawing up a balance of the season that "his" is experiencing so far Dream Pesaro. Company of which the almost thirty-four year old montemurlo is perhaps the most representative player, despite having scored his first goal of the season last week against Pescara (with a lack of celebration as a sign of respect for the team that welcomed him into its ranks in Serie B in 2020). And even in the last match of the 2024/25 Serie C championship, which Vis won 2-0 against Pianese, he gave his contribution in terms of experience. The playmaker born in 1991 continues to make the difference in the third division and the numbers prove it: this season he has played almost all the matches, taking the field 32 times between the league and the cup. A choice in the name of continuity, therefore: he arrived in the Marche from Australia in 2022, scoring 2 goals in 21 games in his first year. But when injuries gave him a break, he had no problem remembering why he had managed to play 136 times in Serie A with Empoli and Chievo during his career. He contributed first and foremost to keeping the team from the Marche region is afloat in the “regular season” of the 2023/24 Serie C, scoring 4 times in 36 appearances and repeating with two more goals in the two playout matches. Without him, in short, the Pesaro club would probably not have survived last year. And with him, the team from the Marche region currently occupies fifth place in Group B of Serie C, virtually finding itself in the playoff zone. Time will quantify the ambitions of the group. But at least for now, Pucciarelli and Vis can continue to dream.
