Ravenna more solid with Zagre and Ilari: "But it was not a repair market"

The market is closed, now the Ravenna leader with Forlì focuses on the last 12 days. We talked about it with the ds Davide Mandorlini.

Are you satisfied with the transactions concluded on the repair market?

"Yes, we are satisfied, even if, for us, it was not a 'repair' market in the strict sense. We tried to implement the squad with some prospects".

The most important operations were those of Ilari e Warm up.

"We played it safe with Ilari. Instead, we had the chance to see Zagre at work for a month, appreciating his qualities. We thought he could be useful to us and, for this reason, we invested in him."

How do you interpret the fact that no one in the squad, not even those who play little, have asked to leave?

"Usually, you ask to leave when you have problems with the coach, teammates or the club. The group, however, is very united and is doing well. And the individuals, who are evidently doing well in the group, are convinced of their potential and of the contribution they can make from now until the end".

Are there perhaps economic reasons that push them to stay?

"I wouldn't say so, because in all the D series there are also companies that invest more than us and are therefore able to put significant figures on the table".

In terms of the championship, it could be a disadvantage to have both direct clashes away from home. Forlì e Tau Altopascio?

"I don't think the home field factor is that decisive, especially for Ravenna, which has a significant following of sportsmen and fans, even away from home. And in any case, I don't see it as a disadvantage."

Assuming a head-to-head with Forlì, what are their most obvious characteristics to keep an eye on?

"Forlì plays very well, they are led by an excellent coach like Miramar and makes ball possession its strong point, with very well-organized actions from behind. At the moment it has scored more than us (49 goals against Ravenna's 37, ed.), conceding a couple more. However, the difference is always made by the incidents and the interpretation of the moment. Ravenna, for example, is more concrete".

Ravenna drew 1-1 with Tuttocuoio who, seven days later, lost 5-0 to the bottom team Sammaurese...

"It's the price that the famous teams have to pay when they face teams like Tuttocuoio. Everyone wants to beat Ravenna."

"Imolese is a young team, with good pace, and important technical qualities. They will come without pressure and without the anxiety of the result, since their standings are 'quiet'. That's why it will be a difficult match".
