FORTE DEI MARMI – Real Forte Querceta beats Camaiore 1-0 (who have already won the championship and deservedly achieved Serie D) and shakes off some of the anxiety for this end of the season. Lucarelli's goal at the start of the second half gives three fundamental points to Francesco Buglio's boys, now one step away from mathematical salvation. With two days to go in the championship, the five points from Fratres Perignano (the team that currently occupies the last place leading to the playouts) are a more than reassuring advantage: a positive result between Castelnuovo Garfagnana and Pro Livorno Sorgenti will be enough to stay calm and not have to wait for the results of others (another comforting reason for Real Forte Querceta is the possible gap in points with the other competitors for salvation).
The 'Necchi Balloni' derby was a decisive match for Real Forte Querceta, a little less so for a Camaiore with its belly already full. The motivations certainly had an impact on the final outcome but credit must be given to the home team for having interpreted the match properly, risking little and managing the decisive moments of the contest intelligently. In the initial 4-4-2, Buglio relaunched Mearini in attack, only the bench for Panicucci. Stringara out due to disqualification. Camaiore without Zambarda, Bacci and Zavatto: Cristiani allows little to the turnover, the best players on the field with Chiaramonti chasing his twenty-second goal in the championship.
The balance is broken at the beginning of the second half and the usual Lucarelli finds the right spark to give Real Forte Querceta the lead. Cristiani tries to shake up his players by throwing Nardi and Belli into the fray, Buglio responds with the usual Mearini-Panicucci relay in front. Real Forte Querceta risks little and in the end Camaiore gives space to its young players, making the 2007 Bastillo debut in the championship in place of Chiaramonti. It ends 1-0 and at the end there are smiles for everyone.
