Pittino's own goal that gave AlbinoLeffe the lead

ZANICA (Bergamo) With a goal in each half, Albinoleffe eliminates Lumezzane and remains alone in fourth place in a ranking that always sees Padova and Vicenza playing for the top spot and FeralpiSalò in third, but distantly uncomfortable. A very fragmented match in which AlbinoLeffe had more of the initiative. In the first minutes, the first opportunity for Albinoleffe with Longo, then Lumezzane makes itself seen with Baldini and Corti. But during the greater pressure of the locals, AlbinoLeffe creates the situation for the first goal: in the 41st minute, Baroni overlaps and crosses into the center, but the ball is deflected by Pittino, and the ball ends up behind Toniolo. The break is with the Celeste ahead 1-0 and in the second half Lumezzane tries to change attitude, trying to equalize. However, only a shot from outside by Baldini neutralized by Marietta and a header by the new entrant Monachello are recorded. Much more dangerous was AlbinoLeffe with substitute Sorrentino who was hypnotized twice by Toniolo before Zoma closed the game in the 44th minute, when he was found vertically by Parlati and pierced Toniolo. A deserved success by the Orobici, who now reap what was wasted in the first half of the season, while Lumezzane remains on the margins of the play-out zone. Third success in a row for Albinoleffe who will face Trento at their home next Sunday, in a sort of direct clash to stay in fourth place.
