Samb beats Chieti and remains firmly at the top

In the first half, Samb controls the game but only shoots with Paolini from 35 meters, while Vutahj tries from the edge for Chieti without finding the target. In the 42nd minute, Samb recovers the ball in the three-quarter line and Kerjota is able to enter the area: his left-footed shot is deflected by Mercorelli. After a first half devoid of excitement, in the 1st minute of the second half, Toure recovers the ball and Kerjota lights up: double dribble, entry into the area and assist for Eusepi who scores the Rossoblù lead with a backheel. Chieti responds with Casciano, whose shot ends up well off target. Samb doesn't suffer at all and doubles the lead in the 35th minute: a beautiful opening by Guadalupi, an excellent stop by D'Eramo who enters the area and serves the overlapping Paolini with a backheel who puts it in low for Kerjota, whose tap-in is worth 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Eusepi misses the chance to make it 3-0 by firing Guadalupi's excellent assist high with his left foot.
