The data was expected, and yesterday at a certain point it became official: the Forlì-Ravenna derby will be sold out. Yesterday afternoon the box office of the Tullo Morgagni stadium closed its doors definitively with the sale of the last of the 3.450 tickets available to watch the big match 'Vecchia Romagna' that today, at 14.30:XNUMX pm, will see Forlì and Ravenna play for Serie C in the hundredth challenge between the two clubs.
The mayor of Forlì Gian Luca Zattini will attend the highly anticipated event. There will also be many insiders, starting with the former commissioner of the National team and former coach of Milan Arrigo Sacchi, as always accompanied by his friend Mario Baldassarri, patron of the 'Vip Master' of Milano Marittima. The red and white club recommends that athletes arrive early to the stadium entrance to avoid traffic jams at the entrance gates. For those who were unable to find a ticket, the eagerly awaited match will be broadcast live on Tele Romagna (channel 14 of digital terrestrial).
To ensure public order, security measures will see 170 police officers and carabinieri at work, in addition to representatives of the Local Police engaged in traffic management. From 13:14.30 p.m. to 13:12 p.m. the stretch of Viale Roma between Via Cerchia and Via Campo di Marte will be closed: it will be reopened as soon as play begins. While the stretch of Via Campo di Marte between Viale Roma and Viale Spazzoli will be off-limits from 17:XNUMX p.m. until the end of the match. Inside the stadium and in the surrounding areas, from XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. the sale of drinks in glass containers and cans and alcoholic beverages will be prohibited.
In the evening, Forlì president Gianfranco Cappelli wrote a public letter to thank the fans: "I am grateful for the demonstration of affection to those who have never abandoned us, to those who will cross the gates of the stadium for the first time, to those who will return to the stadium after a long time. After five years the stadium will be full again".
Then, about the match, the president continues: "The derby must be a celebration". He calls it "The Match", with a capital P. He admits that there will be "a lot of tension" but "we do not want to see violence and disruption. Many people will be working to ensure the successful realization of the event which will certainly be magnificent". Space for the personal state of mind and that of his collaborators: "For every member of the company it is a great emotion. But with your powerful push from the stands the red and white family will be even stronger".
