On the occasion of the Italian Half Marathon Championships a San Benedetto del Tronto last sunday, the Policiano Sports Union, despite some defections, obtained an excellent seventh place overall in the company rankings out of 191 participants with over two thousand athletes involved. The Arezzo team was composed of the men's team of Pastorini, Bettarelli, Annetti, Ciambriello, Landucci, Lisi, Luccero, Maccari, Manco, Martino, Monacchini, Monnanni, Orsi, Nespoli, Ragazzini, Sapone, Scaglia, Serboli, Serluca, Sinatti, Sisi and Volpi and the women's team of Boncompagni and Picchirilli. The best of the Arezzo team was Michael Pastorini, who finished 16th (first in his category) with a time of 1.10.15, almost 18 minutes more than the winner of the race, the Kenyan Kedir. Among the women, she climbed onto the podium in her category, in third place, Emanuela Picchirilli with a time of 1.38.05.
