Black SheepS on a bike. Between passion and competition

A 360 degree project on Cycling, both off-road and on-road, forming both a competitive group for all categories and disciplines as well as a recreational group operating in the tourism sector or in the training/sports support for children within schools with courses held by its own federal technicians. This is the ambitious mission that the Asd Black SheepS Montalbano, a new sporting reality born in Bassa di Cerreto Guidi thanks to the passion for Mountain bike and for cycling in general of the president Enrico Zavaglini, of the vice president Gabriele Pesantini, and of the advisors William Franceschini, Massimo Serni and Andrea Giorni. The sports director, also a cycling tour guide for Sportiva Fci, is Alessio Lotti and among the collaborators are Alessandro Orsolini and Luca Menichetti (president of the Tuscan Regional Committee for the Italian Cycling Federation). "Black SheepS Montalbano, literally 'the black sheep of Montalbano' - the company explains - identifies well how we feel, that is, a group of people passionate about two wheels who experience cycling in a totally different way from the great mass".

The company is currently participating in national and international competitions with two Junior athletes (17-18 years), Leonardo Zeno Lotti and Matteo Orsolini, two Students (15-16 years), Cosimo Lotti and Ludovico Manzi, the Elite Master Giulia Maccioni (reigning Toscana Urban champion) and 13 other Master athletes. Last Monday the Juniors Orsolini and Lotti participated with good results in the individual time trial on the road on the same route as the Tirreno Adriatico, with many high-level participants. The off-road group instead took part in the first round of the Toscano Enduro Series in Castelnuovo Val di Cecina: third Giulia Maccioni among the Elite Woman Sport, fifth Bruno Raffaello among the Master 3, third Enrico Zavaglini among the Master 5 and second Cristiano Riccomi among the Master 6. The primary objective of the company is to find a physical location where it can carry out the activity youth cycling and amateur in complete safety and thus become a Cycling School. There are also many cycling excursions organized by the club, both during the day and at night, such as the now famous "From Beer to Beer", which takes place in June on the Montalbano trails.
