With a commanding sprint, the Tuscan Lorenzo Cataldo (Gragnano Sporting Club) won the 13th Gran Premio dell'Industria – 8th Memorial Cesare Lattanzi, held in Civitanova for the organization of the ASD Cam – Fermo, Costruzioni e Ambiente with the patronage of the Municipality and the help of the Admo.

At the finish line the winner preceded Matteo Fiorin and Riccardo Lorello, entering his name in the roll of honor for the second time since he had won in Civitanova in 2023.

170 runners representing 29 clubs showed up at the start, ready to battle on the 105 km of the 3,5 km flat course to be repeated 30 times.

The race was always very fast and hard fought with the group ready to repel any attempts at attack. At half race the intermediate sprint of the day was won by Tommaso Bessega (Biesse Carrera) who preceded Riccardo Lorello (Team Hopplà) and Thomas Gamba (General Store – Essegibi). The race got into full swing but at km 80,5 it was suspended due to a fall involving several riders. At the restart Danil Kazakov (PC Baix Ebre Tortosa) attempted to escape managing to reach a maximum advantage of 35” with just over 10km to go. However, the group reacted and under the push of Team Technipes the platoon returned to being compact before the bell. At that point the sprint with compact ranks was inevitable and rewarded, after the Photofinish Cataldo ahead of Fiorin and Lorello.

Later, in the presence of Francesco Acquaroli, President of the Marche Region, the awards ceremony took place.
