After trying in the past years, the Veronese team, directed by Daniele Colosso, finally entered one of its riders in the roll of honor, also taking third place with Giovanni Bortoluzzi. A victory built in the team car with the team always ready to close any attempt at a breakaway. The race started strong right from the start with the Russian Vladimir Goncharov leading the way for over 40 km.

A solo that was extinguished by the return of the group led by the men of Team Hopplà and Biesse Carrera. Then Agostinacchio tried several times to push on the uphill sections to increase the advantage by exploiting his physical strength.

In the 162 km of the race, through the classic figure-eight circuit, there was no shortage of breakaways that were immediately extinguished by the arrival of the group. More than 10 attempts were stopped until the last 2 km when, launched by Matteo Regnanti, Bruno took the lead. The response from General Store was not long in coming, with a duel that culminated with the victory of the Piedmontese Cirlincione. This is his first win of the season after the excellent sixth place at the Coppa San Geo on February 22. If last year he had to wait until the end of the season to score his first seal, with the victory at the Gran Premio Colli Rovescalesi, in 2025 he reversed course, and it is safe to bet, given his excellent form, that others could follow. On the finishing straight Bruno had no more drive, in the last 500 meters, having less sprinting skills, he tried to extend his lead by taking advantage of the uphill bend, well covered by his teammate Regnati, who arrived fifth at the end, but Cirlincione had more energy.
