Cycling, the technical staff of the Tuscany Regional Committee is completed

Florence, 11 March 2025 – With the latest appointments, the technical structure of the Tuscany Regional Committee, for road, track and off-road activities. And the members, each for their own area of ​​expertise, began their work with enthusiasm to contribute to maintaining Tuscany at the top of national cycling in the various specialties. To plan the work at the beginning of the season, there was also a meeting between the coordinator of road technicians Gianluca Maggiore (who will also take care of the junior category), that of beginners and students as well as of the track Marco Lapucci, with Dino Salvoldi, Technical Commissioner of road men juniors, as well as track CTs for the men, juniors, Under 23 and Elite categories. The meeting took place at the Montichiari Velodrome in the province of Brescia where the two Tuscan technicians were in the company of two promising juniors from our region, Francesco Matteoli (GB Junior Pool Cantù) and Pietro Menici (Casano-Stabbia).

In recent days, remote meetings have also been held to plan the season that will end on Sunday, March 23rd with regards to the activity with the start of the races for beginners and students. It will be a season with several trips of the Tuscan representatives for important events on the road and off-road, while there will also be commitments with the track activity whose regional program is being defined.

This is the appointed organizational chart.

ROAD TECHNICAL COORDINATOR: Gianluca Maggiore who will also be the technician responsible for the junior category.

TECHNICIAN BEGINNERS AND STUDENTS: Marco Lapucci, who will have Michele Farnesi as his collaborator. Lapucci will also be the track activity technician, assisted as a sector member by Maurizio Nassi, who has always been passionate about the specialty.

OFF ROAD: The technician for beginners and students XCO will be Sandro Ceccarelli; that of the international XCO categories Walter Giammattei; regional technician CX Stefano Burgassi. The technician for the women's categories will once again be Michelangelo Dorangricchia. To complete the entire Regional Technical Structure, we remind you that Emilio Farulli is the Organizational Supervisor; Giovanni Nencetti as coordinator with the members of the structure Giuseppe Tomei, Davide Fabbri, Mario Pieri, Alessandro Dolfi, Federico Grassi.
