CYCLING. Tour of Val d'Egola. First test, stand out. Luppichini and Colonna

It opened last weekend in the locality The Greenhouse of San Miniato with the first test organized by the Ontraino sports group, the Tour of the Egola Valley in the context of Uisp Tuscany Cup 2025.

The overall winners of the two races were Pisa Samuel Luppichini, EliteSport in the Speedy Bike formation, and the Pistoia native Frederick Colonna Team Stefan. Luppichini's success with a splendid sprint ahead of Mikel Demiri (Promotech). Winners in their respective categories, Alessio Finocchi in Master 1, Massimo Poccianti in Master 2 (third overall), Davide Bianchi in Master 3, Michele Massa in Master 4.

Also in the second race, the former professional Federico Colonna, a Master 5 amateur cyclist from Team Stefan, achieved a sprint finish and a vigorous start, while Agostino del Monte (Gs Baglini Nodica) in the Master 6, Franco Trosino in the Master 7, Antonio Guarnotta (Carli Salviano) in the Master 8 also prevailed in the category rankings. Some female representatives also competed and Federica Baldassatici from Team Stefan won over Valeria Graffeo from La Belle Equipe. Both races were a complete success.
