Florence, 20 March 2025 - It is time in Tuscan cycling to resume youth activity with the rookie and student categories (opening Sunday 23 March) so with the first Sunday of April it will also be the turn of the very young in order to complete the program. The first seasonal commitments for rookies (13-14 years) and students (15-16 years) are scheduled in Monte San Quirico on the outskirts of Lucca, with the 74th Coppa Giuseppe Cei-55th Coppa Francesco Tomei, a prestigious classic for students, and with the 4th Coppa Guinigi for 1st and 2nd year rookies. The Tuscan Championships for the two categories are scheduled for 29 June in Pieve a Fosciana in the province of Lucca organized by USD Montecarlo Ciclismo. The two Italian championships instead in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on Sunday 6 July.

BEGINNERS: We look with interest especially at those of the second year already brilliant protagonists in 2024 for the victories and placements achieved starting from the regional champion Mattia Iacopi and his twin Niccolò. Then there are De Stefano, Marini, Maffei, Cantini, Belloni, Martinelli, Staccioli, Di Salvo, Brocchi.

STUDENTS: In the first of the season a luxury comparison in the Coppa Giuseppe Cei with the presence of numerous athletes from outside Tuscany. As for the Tuscan athletes we find young people making their debut and others who already have a year of experience. The names of the probable protagonists of the season are the regional champion Lorenzo Luci and his teammates in the Iperfinish, Agnini and Roggi, to continue with Kolarski, Nieri, Kovatz, Pavi Degl'Innocenti, Fogli, Frosini, Scappini, Frosini, Gabbrielleschi, Mori, Menici (last year Tuscan champion 2nd year rookies), Gastasini, Cerone, Castrucci, Cerofolini.
