Athletes launched by Ivan Fanini who are now at the top of cycling. The appointment of Marco Villa as technical commissioner of the national road team represents the crowning achievement of a successful career, a true apotheosis for the cycling movement linked to Fanini.

But the satisfaction does not stop here. Another piece of news welcomed with great enthusiasm is the appointment of Ivan Quaranta, former Fanini athlete and former head of the speed sector, as the new technical commissioner of the national track team.

"I remember when, at the height of his career, he managed to beat a champion of the caliber of Cipollini at the Giro d'Italia, even wearing the pink jersey. And I can't forget when he came to me at a difficult moment in his career to relaunch himself. We experienced together the pain of losing Valentino Fois and the joy of his return to victory at the "Settimana Lombarda" and the Italian track championship, when no one believed in him anymore. Ivan was an incredible talent. Now, as technical commissioner, he will give one hundred and ten percent and will be able to do great things."

There is, then, a special bond between Fanini and these athletes. Milan, instead, is the son of Flavio who raced as a professional with "Amore & Vita".
