Cycling, the organizational season of the Velo Club Monsummanese 1992

Monsummano Terme (Pistoia), 7 March 2025 - The thirty-third edition of the Cycling season of the Velo Club Monsummanese founded in 1992, which in recent weeks has elected the new board of directors for the current season, and which in recent days has completed the program of races to be organized in the 2025 season. There will be seven events planned by the company in via Pozzarello chaired by Marco Bettaccini, who as widely expected has been reconfirmed in the role, with Luciana Stefani as vice president. The top management of the company will collaborate with the directors Fabrizio Nardone, Arcangelo Ruotolo, Massimo and Manuel Bettaccini, Cristian Giovannelli, Stefano Traversi, Silverio Batosti, Maurizio Magrini and Alberto Brizzi. The association will be called in the next few days to the first organizational commitment of the year, with the dispute on Sunday 16 March in Monsummano Terme, of the 2nd Trofeo Velo Club Monsummanese reserved for amateur cyclists of the Italian Cycling Federation and the Sports Promotion Bodies. In order of execution, there will be two timed hill climbs for students and juniors from Uggia di Monsummano to Montevettolini on June 7, while the fifth edition of the Escursione Notturna is scheduled for July 10, also open to non-members. The other key day of the season will be Sunday September 21 with the third edition of the Gran Premio Città di Monsummano Terme for amateurs, followed during the day by the two youth races for first and second year beginners, also valid for the Gran Premio Città di Monsummano Terme and now in its thirty-third edition.
