There will be 31 teams that will give life to the Montecassiano match on Sunday 64th San Giuseppe Grand Prix, the queen national race of the regional calendar Cycling, considered by insiders to be the "Milan-Sanremo" of amateurs. In the San Marco auditorium the top management of the Montecassiano Velo Club have presented this edition whose departure is set for 12.45 from Piazza Unità d'Italia, then the race will officially start from via Grazia Deledda, on the plain, at 13, in front of the main sponsor Cbf Balducci's establishments, from where the first half lap will be made back to Montecassiano. And from here the 8 complete laps of a classic "eight" course, of 19 km, will begin, with the finish line and intermediate passage in Montecassiano. The total distance, considering the initial lap, before the 8 complete ones, of 19 km, is 162 km. At the presentation press conference, after the welcome greeting from the city councilor Tristano Valentino Grandinetti, representing the mayor Leonardo Catena, Massimo Romanelli, the new president of the Marche Cycling Federation, spoke, accompanied by his predecessor Lino Secchi and his deputy Marco Marinuk. The brothers Enrico and Michele Bravi, president and race director of the Velo Club Montecassiano, did the honors. The Macerata association stands out for its appreciated organizational capacity, carried forward in the wake of what was traced by figures such as Sergio Latini and the late Americo Calcabrini, Graziano Pallotto and Attilio Giordano. "In this edition - Enrico Bravi recalled - we will be able to count on three foreign teams and on many other important realities. This year they have all been strengthened with young people of great interest ready to compete in the race also valid for the 34th Cappello d'Oro Trophy".
