The Lidl Trek team was magnificent in the final kilometre, staying at the head of the pack thanks to Consonni's acceleration, with Milan taking the lead 200 metres from the finish line and taking the win.

Nothing has changed in the standings with Filippo Gana who keeps the blue jersey of leader of the classification on his shoulders.
