Cycling: Tommaso Roggi triumphs at the Giro della Valdigreve for Iperfinish

Nothing new in the students category in Tuscany. The company always wins, or rather dominates Hyperfinish of Fucecchio to the sixth seasonal victory and this time after the amazing doubles of Luci and Favilli, and the victory of Agnini, to impose himself on the finish line of Greve in Chianti it's the Arezzo Thomas Roggi. In compliance with the forecast we can add in the twenty-second Tour of Valdigreve with the first of Roggi, the second place with Spanio and the fourth with Favilli and in the Top ten also Agnini, Mori and Scappini. The script repeats itself to the delight of the managers and the tipisi.

The race was decided over a distance (six laps were planned with the Pontaccio climb) when a trio took off to compete for success on Viale G. Da Verrazzano. There was no sprint between the two Iperfinish athletes, as Roggi and Spanio finished the competition tied, followed about twenty meters behind by the generous Cappelletti. The split arrival of the pursuers began 19 seconds later with the fourth place of Emanuele Favilli from Livorno, completing yet another team success for the Fucecchio team. The other feat of the cycling day was achieved by the Tuscan champion Riccardo Del Cucina of Stabbia Casano who, after brilliant placings, finally achieved success in Ponzano Superiore in the province of La Spezia.

A well-deserved victory for the athlete from Arezzo who started the season strong and who was able to clearly impose himself in the La Spezia race confirming his excellent condition. And on Sunday 4th May the race will be organised by the Stabbia sports group in the town of Cerreto Guidi, the Gp Calzaturifici e Calzifici Stabbiesi. Obviously the local team is determined to do well in front of the home crowd. The forecast is all on the side of the local favourites given the results obtained so far, but in cycling never take anything for granted. As always, the road will decree the final verdict.
